Trust in the Lord

This is the devotion I read today in a book called "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young

Trust Me, and do not be afraid. Many things feel out of your control. Your routines are not running as smoothly as you would like. You tend to feel more secure when things are predictable. Let me lead you to the rock that is higher than your circumstances. Take refuge in the shelter of my wings, where you will be absolutely secure.

When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip My hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning and complaining about the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new. I lead you on from glory to glory, making you fit for My kingdom.

Say yes to the ways I work in your life. Trust me and do not be afraid.

Isaiah 12:2 2 (New Living Translation) See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”

  1. How funny. I just found your blog for the first time. I read your header and then your post for today. God has a sense of humor. I rejoice in your organization skills. People like you keep people like me moving forward with less chaos. But like I need to step up the order in life sometimes and you need to learn to chill He loves us in the midst. I keep hearing about Jesus Calling....I'm thinking I should check it out. Hope you have a grand day!
